Buducnost VOLI odbija putovanje u Dubai zbog bezbednosti

Buducnost VOLI is facing a significant issue ahead of the ABA League semifinals. The team from Montenegro has decided not to travel to Dubai due to safety risks. The club's board unanimously agreed not to go to the United Arab Emirates, despite the fact that BC Dubai received the green light to return home. This decision was made after consultations with players and coaching staff, who expressed concerns about potential dangers during travel and stay in the UAE. Buducnost VOLI emphasized that their commitment to the integrity of the competition is a priority, and they believe that a neutral venue in Europe would be the only acceptable solution. This situation further complicates the organization of the ABA League finals, and the club hopes that the situation in the region will stabilize soon. In a letter addressed to the ABA League director, Milija Vojinović, Buducnost VOLI expressed regret that BC Dubai cannot play in front of their fans. The decision not to travel was made with full understanding of the current circumstances and safety risks.
