Buducnost VOLI signed a contract with Iverson Molinar, a 26-year-old Panamanian guard coming from Cluj. Molinar is a player who feels the rhythm of the game with the ball in his hands. He can organize the offense, attack out of the pick-and-roll, and take responsibility when the possession becomes shorter and the opposing defense shuts down the primary options. And that is his greatest value - he is not limited to just one role. He can cover both guard positions, play with a traditional point guard, or take over playmaking duties himself when the game demands it. With a height of 193 cm, Molinar brings size and strength to the perimeter. When driving to the basket, he uses changes of pace, a strong first step, and the ability to absorb contact, while his outside shooting allows him to punish defenses that sag too deeply. But Molinar is also a player who can organize the offense and take responsibility. In the season with Cluj, he showed that he can be a major offensive weapon even at the European level. In the EuroCup, he averaged 12.9 points and 4 assists per game, and against Buducnost VOLI confirmed what had been evident throughout the season - in big games, he neither shies away from the ball nor from responsibility. Molinar comes to Podgorica with experience from different basketball styles and from games that demand character. So now he will have the opportunity to show his qualities in the jersey of Buducnost VOLI. In the last season, Molinar was one of the key players of Cluj, which won the Romanian championship. And now he will try to repeat that success with Buducnost VOLI.
