Buducnost VOLI is facing serious challenges regarding the ABA League semifinal series against BC Dubai. The Podgorica club refuses to travel to the United Arab Emirates, raising concerns within the ABA League. After consultations with players and coaching staff, it was decided that traveling to Dubai could jeopardize the team due to safety risks. Buducnost VOLI secured its place in the semifinals through the regular season and quarterfinals, but now faces a dilemma about organizing the games. The club emphasized that it is essential for the competition to be held in conditions that guarantee the safety of all participants. The Buducnost board unanimously decided not to travel to Dubai, stating that a neutral venue in Europe would be the only acceptable solution. Additionally, the club expresses regret that BC Dubai cannot play in front of its fans. At this moment, the ABA League has not made any official decisions, and Buducnost VOLI remains committed to the integrity of the competition.
